Big increase in women playing league
Jess Palmer is excited about the future of women’s rugby league, and rightfully so.
To coincide with the Women In League round, the NRL has released figures indicating a 12 per cent increase in the amount of female players playing in regular competitions since last year, with a staggering 52 per cent increase in girls taking part in rugby league school programs.
